REFERENCE

are a people holy to the Lord your God. Out of all the peoples on the face of
the earth, the Lord has chosen you to be His treasured possession. Deuteronomy
14:2(NIV)
COMMENT:
God is addressing His people the Jews-the
children of Abraham. Through salvation in Christ Jesus, we have become the
children of Abraham also. We are therefore chosen to be God’s treasured possession.
We are holy to the Lord.
The blood of
Jesus cleanses us and that way we remain holy. We look forward to the day of
the return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to take us home to dwell in
heaven with him for eternity.
PRAYER:
Holy Spirit!
Keep me away from sinning.
