FAITH BUILDING STORY

Here's another faith building story.

A certain king needed a faithful servant and had to choose between two candidates for the office.

He took both at fixed wages and told them to fill a basket with water from a nearby well, saying that he would come in the evening to inspect their work.

After dumping one or two buckets of water into the basket, one of the men said, "What is the good of doing this useless work? As soon as we pour the water in, it runs out the sides."

The other answered, "But we have our wages, haven't we? The use is the master's business, not ours. He is a wise King, and must have his own purpose that we do not understand."

"I'm not going to do such fool's work," replied the complainer. Throwing down his bucket, he went away.

The other man continued until he had drained the well. Looking down into it, he saw something shining at the bottom - it was a diamond ring.

"Now I see the use of pouring water into the basket!" he exclaimed. "If the bucket had brought up the ring before the well was dry, it would have been filtered out in the basket. The King was looking for his diamond. Our work was not useless."

The King found his most faithful servant!

The point is, in our lives there are undesirable events that happened or will happen and only God knows why.

Regardless, we just need to do what we need to do and remain faithful.

Continue to read your Bible, memorize scriptures, and meditate it.

With scripture memorization, you're disciplining your eyes to focus on God no matter what's happening around you.

So take the time now to memorize at least one Bible verse and develop your faith better.

The Mark: Scientist Claims Human Microchip Implants Will Become “Not Optional”

Technologies designed specifically to track and monitor human beings have been in development for at least two decades.

In the virtual realm, software programs are now capable of watching us in real time, going so far as to make predictions about our future behaviors and sending alerts to the appropriate monitoring station depending on how a computer algorithm flags your activities. That is in and of itself a scary proposition.

What may be even scarier, however, is what’s happening in the physical realm. According to researches working on human-embedded microchips it’s only a matter of time before these systems achieve widespread acceptance.

Chances are you’re carrying a couple of RFID microchips now. And if you are, they’re sending out a 15-digit number that identifies you. That number can be picked up by what’s called an ISO compliant scanner. And they’re everywhere, too.
Watch the video below and note this though provoking quote:

"It’s not possible to interact with society in a meaningful way by not having a mobile phone. I think human implants are likely to go along a very similar route. It would be such a disadvantage to not have the implant that it essentially becomes not optional".

Your initial reaction to this idea may be one of disbelief. There’s no way society would accept such a device. Why would anyone want to implant this in their body?

Consider for a moment where we are right now. For decades Americans rejected the notion that they would submit to being tracked or recorded.

Yet, just about every American now carries a mobile phone. They’re so prevalent, in fact, that many consider it a “right,” prompting the government to actually provide subsidies to those who can’t afford one on their own.

Embedded in every one of those phones is an RFID chip that can track our every movement via GPS or cell tower triangulation. Moreover, those microphones and cameras that come standard on every phone can be remotely activated by law enforcement surveillance systems, a capability that has existed since the early 2000′s.

But as intrusive as these devices are, they are accepted as the norm by billions of people world wide. Not only that, but no one had to “force” them on us. We are, it seems, the masters of our own enslavement. And we pay top dollar to have the best tracking device money can buy!

Granted, one can simply disconnect from “the grid” by throwing away their cell phone. But, the direction these new monitoring technologies are moving coupled with continued government expansion of surveillance suggests that microchip RFID technology will eventually be non-voluntary.

Michael Snyder of The Truth Wins asks What will you do when you can no longer buy or sell without submitting to biometric identification?

This technology is going to keep spreading, and it is going to become harder and harder to avoid it.

And it is easy to imagine what a tyrannical government could do with this kind of technology. If it wanted to, it could use it to literally track the movements and behavior of everyone.

And one day, this kind of technology will likely be so pervasive that you won’t be able to open a bank account, get a credit card or even buy anything without having either your hand or your face scanned first.

It’s difficult to imagine a populace that will freely submit to such digital bondage. But as has been the case with the degradation of personal privacy and rights in America, be assured it won’t simply become law over night.

First, the technologies will need to be generally accepted by society. It’ll start with real-time consumer based products like Google Glass. The older generations may reject it, but in a couple of years you can bet that tens of millions of kids, teens and younger adults will be roaming the streets while sporting cool shades, interactive web surfing and the capability to record everything around them and upload it to the internet instantly.

Next, as we’re already seeing from early adopters, RFID chips will be voluntarily implanted under our skin for everything from access to high security buildings to grocery store purchases.

Eventually, once the concept is generally accepted by the majority, it will become our new “social security number.”

To gain access to official services, you’ll need to be a verified human. Without verification you won’t even be able to purchase a six pack of beer, let alone get medical care or a driver’s license.

Whether we like it or not this is the future. Every purchase you make and every step you take will be tracked by a tiny 15-digit passive microchip, meaning that the only way to “turn it off” will be to physically remove it from your body.

In essence, we’ll soon live in a world of Always On Monitoring.

Our children and grandchildren – at least most of them – will likely not only submit to implantation, they’ll gladly pay the costs so that they, too, can “interact with society in a meaningful way.”

JONI ERIKSON TADA

In 1967, a diving accident left Joni Erickson Tada paralyzed from the neck down.

She has had no feeling or movement in her arms or legs. She uses her mouth to paint and write.

God used her greatly.

She has been a great witness for God and an encouragement to many.

She has written many books, the first one was her autobiography "Joni." She has visited 35 countries sharing the Gospel.

A movie about her life has been translated into 15 languages.

In fact, it is very likely that God has graciously used Joni far more as a paralyzed woman than if she had never had the accident.

God turned her mourning into joy.

Surely, with God's powerful words you can overcome any fears, frustrations, and regrets.

Everyday meditate your memory verse.

Start memorizing just one verse and grow from there.

THE FIRST ADAM LOST ALL: THE SECOND ADAM RECOVERED ALL may 1

REFERENCE: 1 Corinthians 15: 45 & 47                        Romans 5: 19

So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”, the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. 1 Cor. 15:45.   The first man was dust of the earth, the second from heaven. 1 Cor. 15:47.
For Just as through the disobedience of the one man, the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man, the many will be made righteous. Rom 4:19

COMMENT:

The first Adam is the natural man created by God from the dust of the earth and God breathed in the body of dust and he became a living soul. The second Adam unlike the first one, was not created. He came from heaven and like God the Father,  he had no beginning. His origin had nothing to do with dust although he was born of a human woman named Mary, who was a virgin. She became pregnant by the power of the Holy Spirit.  The second Adam was completely different from all other human beings hence his ability to come to earth without the first Adam’s DNA and therefore had no sin.

The first Adam in exercising his freedom of choice given by God; fell into the trap of Satan. He ate the forbidden fruit knowingly and willingly and dire consequences followed.  He lost his ownership and dominion of the earth and all other abilities given by God. He actually transferred all what he had received from God to Satan and instead of becoming a friend; he became a slave and an enemy.

Having won the first Adam to his side, Satan must have included him in the list of those heading to eternal fire. God having loved the world had other plans to rescue this first Adam. He prepared another Adam to pay the price of death and therefore saved him. God’s rescue plan worked very well and it is still working even today.

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ suffered humiliation and physical torture. He died on the cross on a Friday and was buried.  As he had said, he rose again on Sunday and was seen by many for 40 days before he departed and went back to heaven. While on earth, following the resurrection, he had supernatural abilities.

What the first Adam lost in the hands of Satan, the second Adam snatched and defeated the enemy. Nobody now needs to die and proceed to hell because of whatever sin, Jesus paid for all. Redemption is ours for the asking. ASK AND YOU WILL BE GIVEN!!

PRAYER: Thanks Jehovah! Your mercies are everywhere every day.

TEACHING KIDS

I know you will agree with me that training up a child or a grandchild in today’s world is not an easy task.

As Christian parents and grandparents, we want our kids to be polite and socially wise.

Now, the flesh is difficult to train all by itself.  But add to that the negative influence of today’s society, and you have one tough job on your hands!

I have found that the best tool for teaching my children to be polite and considerate of others is to teach them God’s Word.

Yes, I know they hear the Word in Sunday school and in the church worship services, but I know that my children’s flesh needs constant reminding of God’s principles.

What better way to keep the Word of God with them at all times than to help them memorize key verses that will give them instruction?

One good place is start in in Luke 2:52, “And Jesus grew in wisdom, and in stature, and in favour with God and man.”  Jesus behaved in a socially acceptable and wise manner.

Other key verses will teach specific habits that will help your children deal with daily life.   For example, Proverbs 15:1 says, “A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”

When your children memorize this verse and rehearse it often, its truth will begin to be part of their character, and they will find that it helps them avoid arguments when they obey its wisdom.

Memorizing God’s helpful Word does not have to be a burden or a difficult chore.

God’s Word is the tool you need for raising polite children who are capable of handling the social pressures around them.

DOUBTED GOD

Hi it's Hezekiah, here and I have a confession to make.

After being a Christian for over 16 years, going through battles over battles, there were times I
 have doubted God.

Especially those moments when I needed Him the most but I can't feel His presence.

I cried out loud and it feels like He turned deaf ear.

Sometimes I wonder "Lord, are you still there?"

"Am I still in your son?"

Yes, I doubted God many times.

But what I realized is this, those moments are growth pains.

I believe we all go through that "doubting moment" one way or another.

Gideon doubted God.

Thomas doubted God.

Sarah and Abraham laughed at God's promise.

But in the end they all transformed from "doubting" to "believing."

That's right. Those experiences of doubt usually lead to a deeper faith.

Another way to develop deeper faith in God is through scripture memorization and meditation.

LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION apr 30

REFERENCE: Matthew 6:13
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

COMMENT:
An encounter with Satan is a common and daily activity on earth and mankind has to struggle with it. The Lord Jesus as a man here on earth, had to face Satan before he started his ministry. He was tempted but he did not sin. He made his decision not to accept any gifts from the evil one. He was offered the whole world if only he could bow down and worship him (Satan). Despite the fact that Satan was able to give away the world to anybody he wished, Jesus simply told him, it is written, ”Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only”.

Satan will always tempt man and this is the reason why in the Lord’s Prayer we are urged to ask God not to lead us into temptation. Not that God tempts people, not at all; but he allows us to be tempted and when we are through, we are strengthened.

In these three incidents of Jesus’ temptation (Matt.4:1-10), Jesus quoted the relevant scriptures and finally he was able to chase Satan away. The word of God is a two edged sword able to destroy the enemy. It is an offensive weapon and will always achieve your goal when used properly in faith.

Satan will always entice people with gifts. He does not invent new lies if the old one is still working. He knows the easiest way to get hold of God’s people and mislead them completely. Two experienced pastors in Kenya were secretly offered good money by devil worshipers and they knowingly and gladly accepted. Perhaps they thought they would pray over the money and God would accept it. They did not know it was a trap to kill them.

On their way to their home town about 150 kilometers away, they were involved in a road accident and both died. On receiving the bad news, their congregation was shocked. They prayed for the pastors to rise from the dead but God did not honour their prayers. The dead were then buried and forgotten. Only God knows where they are now.

Let us remember to always ask God to keep us away from temptation and when he allows the trials to come, then to provide an escape route.

PRAYER:  God Almighty! Have mercy on us always.
